Games to Play with the Art of War: Sun Tzu Strategy Card Deck

Center For Advantage has currently posted three games that make direct use if the Art of War: Sun Tzu Strategy Card Deck.  Rules for these games are provided by the link below.

StratEffects:  StratEffects is a game designed to solve real world problems.  It encourages users build cause and effects chains or nets so that they can consider all aspects of possible solutions to competitive issues based on all aspects of their available power.  This game uses a very powerful approach to solving strategic problems.

Strategy Sparring™:  Strategy Sparring™ teaches mental agility for strategic thinkers in the same way that physical martial arts sparing teaches participants how to attack and defend when fighting.  All participants in this game are winners in life because the pace and agility of their strategic thinking will increase significantly after a few rounds of play.  For anyone who needs to make split second decisions under fire, these skills could prove lifesaving.

Art of War Assertion:  Art of War Assertion teaches the subtleties of all aspects of conflict strategy and is the primary game for which the Art of War: Sun Tzu Strategy Card Deck were designed.  It makes use of all the information presented on the cards to include strategies, suites and numbers.  On any given turn, you have to decide which elements are the most valuable aspect of your cards to win the game.  Just like in real life strategy, you will face uncertainty, deceptions, and surprises on every turn.

Sun Tzu Poker:  Sun Tzu Poker brings another layer of bluffing and ambushing to a game already rich in conflict strategy play.  It captures the feel of the old west game when a weapon at your side could serve as your ace in the hole.  Don't like your opponent's hand?  You might be able to do something about it.

Art of War Strategy Recognition Game:  Recognizing an opponent's strategy is the first key to enacting a counterstrategy.  The Art of War Strategy Recognition Game tests your ability to recognize strategies used in some of your favorite movies.
